Lieutenant-general of the CEO ISPR, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, informed early Saturday that India had launched six ballistic missiles from Adampur air base in Indian Punjab. Among these, a missile landed near the general area of Adampur itself, while the other five locations hit the region of Amritsar.
The CEO ISPR characterized the incident as an reckless decision that has endangered civil lives and has raised serious questions about India’s operational intention and internal targeting protocols.
He said, “India aims through its programs, the populations of Sikhs in Indian Punjab. All our sympathies are with the Sikhs and the minorities which are victims of its internal plots (from India). It is a shocking development and the provocation of the highest order.
Earlier Friday, the CEO ISPR put India to present evidence, if it has, Pakistan attacks against Indian military facilities with drones and missiles. “Pakistan has not used drones or rockets. If India claims the opposite, let it present evidence,” he challenged, criticizing the Indian media for having spread “fabricated stories”.
Speaking during a briefing for foreign media, he said that reprisals by the Pakistani army against India’s attack was limited to Indian military posts pulling on civil areas along the control line (LOC).
Lieutenant-General Chaudhry was joined by the Director General of Public Relations (DGPR) of the PAF (DGPR), the vice-marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed, and the deputy chief of naval staff (operations) Raja Rab Nawaz.
Chaudhry said Indian forces are involved in terrorist activities not only in Pakistan, but in countries like the United States and Canada.
“There is credible evidence of Indian managers who attribute terrorist tasks to activists operating in Pakistan,” he said, adding that communications intercepted between Indian soldiers and terrorist agents have been documented.
He denounced the Indian media, declaring that he is continuously distributing lies. “Indian journalists like Barkha Dutt have used their platforms to amplify disinformation,” he said. He cited a recent case in the United Kingdom where an Indian diplomat falsely accused a person who leads a funeral prayer of terrorism.
He also refuted the statements of India connecting Pakistan to the recent pahalgam incident. “Pakistan has no connection with this event. If India believes the opposite, it should accept an independent investigation,” he said.
“Pakistan is the last barrier against terrorism in the region,” concluded the CEO ISPR. “We do not support any terrorist organization. We are his victims – and we retaliate, not only for ourselves, but for regional peace. ”
