India reopens 32 airports after the ceasefire with Pakistan

India reopened 32 airports on Monday after a weekend ceasefire which ended the worst fights with neighboring Pakistan since 1999.

The authority of Indian airport said that the 32 – from Srinagar en Indian illegally occupied Jammu -et -Cachemire in Bhuj in the Western State of Gujarat – were now available for civil operations “with immediate effect”.

They were closed last week after ferocious fights broke out between India and Pakistan for four days, triggering a global alarm, it could relax in a full war.

The leader of the Indian airline Indigo said that it “would gradually start operations on previously closed routes”.

The authority of Pakistan airport completely reopened its airspace on Saturday.

The truce was announced on Saturday. India and Pakistan said the border areas were calm on Monday.
