Kyle Larson’s attempt to finish “The Double” ended suddenly on Sunday.
Larson could not finish Indianapolis 500 miles while causing a wreck of three cars around 91. The race had just returned to Green when Larson ran to climb the classification. He was in a tight bag when he downgraded and lost control of his vehicle.

The wreckage collected Sting Ray Robb and Kyffin Simpson, also ending their days.
“It was a little crazy there at the start. I became very tight behind Takuma (Sato),” Larson told Fox after leaving the interior care center. “I was very close to him. I let go and then I did a little everywhere and I turned. Yeah, I just hate … I became a little too impatient there on the restart and I caused this accident. I hate everyone who found himself caught up. Yeah, disappointed.
“Try to overcome this quickly and try to go to Charlotte. Just try to forget it and try to win the next one.”
Larson was trying to become the second pilot in the history of the race to finish the known feat under the name of “Double”, which includes the race and the realization of the 500 laps at the Indy 500, then fly for Charlotte Motor Speedway to run and finish Coca-Cola 600 from Nascar.

He told PK Press Club Digital before the Indy 500 that he was looking forward to the challenge.
“The main thing why I like to run. I like to challenge myself, you somehow learn new cars and all that. And I like to participate in the biggest races in the world. So, to do two in the same day, it’s pretty cool,” said Larson.
“For me, I want to do it while I am in my peak. I am only 32 grew up by doing, and seeing the caliber and the level in which they run, because it would be different from what we, the guys of Nascar, see and feel on a road route.”

Unfortunately for Larson, the feat will be suspended for at least a year.
