The Indycar pilot, Kyffin Simpson, was involved in a scary accident during the training of Indianapolis 500 on Friday.
Simpson came in the last turn and headed for the front section when the back of his vehicle was torted, and he lost control. Simpson slammed his left forehead in the wall and went in the air for a few moments before returning. He did not return.

Parties and debris were scattered through the track while the practice was briefly suspended before it starts again.
“I’m fine, rent the Lord,” Simpson told Fox Sports after being checked at the emergency care center. “It’s a difficult way to start quickly on Friday. Just a strange accident. All that was weird.
“Even from the ignition, something did not feel really well. I continued to go on jacker of weight and try to help the car to go out. It never really felt what I expected. It was just strange. We will go back and look at the data and try to understand what could have been bad and try to make sure that it will not happen again.”
