Indianapolis 500 from Scott McLaughlin was finished before the race was in green.
McLaughlin and the rest of the field made rhythm tricks to prepare for the green flag. McLaughlin warmed his tires at the front right away when his vehicle slipped, and he hit the wall.

N ° 3 rested and McLaughlin was incredulous.
The broadcast of Fox Sports has shown McLaughlin to his vehicle with his head in his hands. His racing team told the broadcaster Jamie Little that there was no way to repair the car to try to operate it when the race went at full speed.
The race had already been delayed almost an hour while rainy drops fell when the event was about to start.
The moment has become one of the strangest moments seen at Indy 500 in recent memory.

“I really have no idea what happened,” he said out of the field care center. “I am really upset for my team. They still built a fantastic car to me. I’m really sorry for my sponsors, for my fans, my family. I don’t know what happened.
How far is Indianapolis Motor Speedway compared to other stadiums?
“I cannot believe that we came out of the race. I had so much hope today. Yes, probably the worst moment of my life.”
McLaughlin was to start 10th place in the fourth row outside of Conor Daly. Alexander Rossi was on the other side of Daly.
He had a difficult week before Indy 500 because he was one of the drivers who suffered scary accidents during training.
McLaughlin finished sixth at Indianapolis 500 last season – it was the best finish of his career. Sunday represented the worst finish of his career during the race.
