Indy 500: Tom Brady takes his turn with Jimmie Johnson before the race

Tom Brady was in a two-seater Indycar vehicle with the legend of Nascar Jimmie Johnson while the two adults of their respective sports took a tour of Indianapolis Motor Speedway in front of Indianapolis 500 on Sunday afternoon.

Brady was in a Fox Sports Fire costume and had an Indycar race helmet while Johnson was driving it on the track. He was taking everything when the car whipped the lines and in the turns.

“It’s amazing,” Brady told Fox Broadcast. “Jimmie Driving, all fans here, I can’t believe that this is the first time I am here.”

Johnson made 29 stars of Indycar in his illustrious racing career between the 2021 and 2022 seasons. He ran the Iny 500 once in his career. He finished 28th in 2022.

“I love Indy 500,” Johnson told Fox Sports earlier this month. “There is an energy and an excitement around the 500 that look like nothing that I have known before.”

Brady was not the only NFL representative on the track on Sunday.

Michael Strahan led the car of the rhythm around the track to drive drivers to Green.

The race was delayed almost an hour as the rain was moving into the area.

Scott McLaughlin came out of the race before the start of the race when he crashed during the rhythm laps. Marco Andretti also destroyed during the first round of the green flag.
