Inflexible labor policies push technological workers to leave

  • New research from Randstad reveals that many technology workers have left their job in the past year
  • It is thanks to difficult working conditions
  • IT workers undergo significant pressure and stress and professional exhaustion

If you have already planned to leave a job that has become too demanding or authoritarian, you are not alone, because a new research affirms the inflexibility of employers with regard to the place, working hours and “work intensity” led 40% of British technology workers to leave last year.

A Randstad survey of more than 2,500 technological workers noted that two out of five respondents said that lasting line policies such as returning to office mandates and long hours of work imposed by employers had pushed them to resign in the past year, with more than half (56%) threatening to seek an alternative job if requests for flexibility were not satisfied.
