- Two models of disguised drones identified in disclosed images
- The insta360 sphere previously published can give indices on the capacities
- DJI is the current drone market leader
Please note, DJI – There seems to be a new competitor of a surprise drone waiting in the wings. This is at least what a new set of insta360s disclosed.
The images, published on X (formerly Twitter) by Serial Tech Leaker Igor Bogdanov, show two disguised drones apparently manufactured by Insta360. One seems to be an ultra-light neo-light style model with integrated propeller guards, while the other is slightly larger with leaflets, in shape similar to the mini or DJI air ranges.

The two models are wrapped in hiding their conceptions, but the wider model packaging clearly says “antigravity”. Is this the name of the range of Insta360 drones, or simply a code name for developing drones? We will have to wait a while to find out.
We will also have to wait and see what features and specifications The two Insta360 drones could offer. The smallest of the two offers no visible clue in its form or design, but the larger folding model seems to have a Fisheye lens oriented upwards. We assume that there is a similar objective arrangement, facing downwards.

Sphere of fate?
This instantly reminded us of the Insta360 sphere, the drone camera almost forgotten in 2022 designed to be mounted on the DJI Air 2s or DJI Mavic Air 2.
With ultra-large cameras oriented upwards and down, the sphere worked about the same way as the Insta360 action cameras like the X5: recording two distinct videos, it would join them transparent (and would remove any visible trace of the Drone) in a single 360 degree video that could be edited and recommended later.
Bringing the creation of 360 videos in class in the sky could be a safe way for Insta360 to distinguish itself from the DJI on the drone market. Again, Dji would also soon be launched his first 360 camera.
Despite its thorny relationship with the American government, Dji is currently on the head and shoulders above its drone competitors, offering the biggest and best drones for consumers. For Insta360 to take a share of this pie, the company may have to publish something slightly different – and these new drones may well represent a change compared to what we have seen so far.
What do you hope to see in the first drones of the Insta360 camera? Let us know in the comments below.
