The NDMA has issued an impact-based meteorological opinion, warning of a serious heat wave likely to affect southern punjab, Sindh, eastern Balutchistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa from June 18 to 22.
The meteorological opinion issued by the National Operation Center (NEOC) of the NDMA urged the general public to take precautionary measures to stay safe during the heat wave.
These include avoiding unnecessary outdoor exposure, in particular between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.; Stay hydrated by drinking a lot of water, even if he did not feel thirsty; Wearing light and cowardly clothes; And using hats or umbrellas outside.
