Peshawar:
The Technical Training and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) and the Khyber Bank (BOK) signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday to offer unanswered commercial loans to the province of the province as part of the KHYBER-PAKHTUNKHWA EHSAAS HUNAR program.
The special assistant of the Minister -in -Chief of Technical Education, Tufail Anjum on this occasion said that the EHSAAS HUNAR program is a flagship project of the KP -Chief Minister for the young people in the province.
As part of this program, young qualified people from the province will receive uninteresting loans to start their own business.
The special assistant made this announcement during the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding. Industry secretary Amir Afaq, managing director of Bok, CEO of Tevta, and other officials were also present.
The project will be implemented via the Bok. An amount of more than RS3 billion was allocated to this project, while 200 million rupees were allocated for the year 2024-25.
As part of this project, around 35,000 young qualified from the province will receive commercial loans.
Each qualified beneficiary will receive an interest -free loan of up to 500,000 rupees, which will be reimbursed in 36 payments. Residents qualified by KP between 18 and 40 years old, with a skill certificate or a diploma will benefit from this project.
The Special Assistant for Technical Education Tufail Anjum said the provincial government had officially launched the EHSAAS Hunar program.
