Islamabad:
The Federal Ministry of Information has invited representatives of foreign media to visit the various locations along the control line (L0C), where, according to Indian propaganda, Pakistan leads militant training camps. Visits will take place today and tomorrow – day and Monday.
This decision aims to break the false account of India that the militant organizations operate on the Pakistani side of the loc, the de facto border which divides the disputed Himalayan valley of Jammu and the cashmere between the two nuclear armed nations, sources said in the ministry.
Sources have said that the media will be informed of the realities on the ground to expose the falsehood of Indian claims.
According to a ministry spokesman, Pakistan remains firmly attached to world peace and completely rejects any form of terrorism or terrorist activities. “The Pakistani nation is determined to protect its sovereignty,” he added.
The Federal Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar and the Director General of Public Relations (ISPR) (ISPR), the lieutenant-general, Ahmed Sharif, will now brève key leaders from various political parties on the national security situation.
The briefing will cover the prospects of a possible armed conflict between Pakistan and India and its possible repercussions. Participants will be informed of the preparation of the Pakistani army, government diplomatic efforts to defuse tensions and the state position on the issue.
New Delhi blamed Islamabad a few hours after an militant attack in the Pahalgam region of the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on April 22.
India then whipped a war hysteria, some Pakistan officials declaring that the hostile neighbor could launch a strike inside Pakistan in a few days.
