IOS 19 is probably a major update of the Apple smartphones operating system. We have already heard, for example, that it could include a revised interface and a management of new IA integrations such as Google Gemini, but we now intend to talk about a smaller but potentially very useful feature that could also be added.
According to Apple Watcher Mark Gurman, writing in its newsletter Bloomberg (via 9TO5MAC), iOS 19 will eliminate part of the pain from reaching public Wi-Fi networks.
If you have already connected to public Wi-Fi, you will know that this often involves filling out a web form, which is a minor drawback. But if you want to connect several devices, you must fill out this form on all, adding to the drawbacks. With iOS 19 however, you may only have to fill it once.
According to Gurman, once you have completed the form on a single device, this recording will synchronize with all your other Apple devices, which makes them a little faster to put them online.
Of course, as for any unexpected feature, we took this with a pinch of salt, but Gurman has a superb assessment for Apple information. We can discover with certainty if this feature is planned for inclusion in June, because it is at this time that iOS 19 will probably be announced – although the finished version of iOS 19 will probably not take place before September.
iOS 19 is not the next update
You don’t have to wait so long for new software because iOS 18.5 should be launched imminent.
There is not yet a confirmed date, but the iOS 18.5 RC (candidate at the exit) was deployed to beta users on May 6, which, depending on the form passed, means that we could see the finished version the next day or both.
It will not be a massive redesign of iOS, but it contains some new features, including a new screen feature, which alerts the parents if the screenword of the screen time has successfully entered a child’s device.
