Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from the Iranian president on Friday, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, who transmitted his condolences and his solidarity with the inhabitants of Pakistan on the devastation caused by the undergoing floods in various parts of the country.
Expressing sympathy with bereaved families who have lost dear beings and property in calamity, Pezeshkian assured that Iran was held near Pakistan in this difficult period and offered any aid that his country could extend to the population affected by the floods.
Shehbaz thanked Pezeshkian for his thoughtful gesture and the expression of support from Iran.
