On Thursday, the permanent senatorial committee of economic affairs was hard on the Sindh government, alleging that irregularities were committed in house constructions in the areas affected by floods, as well as the distribution of solar panels in the province.

The Sindh planning committee assured the committee to present the details of the expenses at the next meeting. The Secretary of Economic Affairs, Dr. Kazim Niaz, told the committee that the ministry had provided 2022 details to the committee. The secretary said the World Bank had given $ 1 billion for the construction of houses for people affected by floods. “International financial institutions have welcomed the role of Pakistan in the treatment of climate change,” he said.
