Katy Perry has once again found herself at the center of rumors, this time due to new pregnancy talk linked to her romance with Justin Trudeau.
Speculation has increased after recent photos of the pop star sparked questions on social media, with many fans wondering if a baby announcement could be on the way.
Those close to the singer, however, affirm that the truth is much less dramatic.
The rumors started after Katy Perry was seen in Montecito, California with Justin Trudeau.
During an outing to Coral Casino and Cabana Club, Perry opted for a loose white outfit rather than her usual body-hugging style, while a dress draped over her midsection caught the attention of onlookers.
This simple detail was enough to send the internet into a frenzy, with some claiming she appeared to be hiding a baby bump.
Since the couple has been linked for less than a year, the theory spread quickly.
But a source close to the couple strongly rejected this hypothesis, telling the Daily Mail: “There have been rumors recently that Katy is pregnant, but that is not the case.”
The insider added that while public interest in the couple remains high, these claims are simply false.
A month ago, a media outlet reported that the singer could consider expanding her family with the politician.
They quoted an insider: “Katy is ready to go all-in right now with [Trudeau]. They even talk about having a child together.
The same insider added that the feeling is mutual, emphasizing that Trudeau is just as committed.
“Justin is very clear that he wants to build a life with her and there is no one he would rather be with.”
The spy further added that “Katy has made no secret that she wants at least one more child” and that “Justin is the perfect person” for it.
However, at the time, fans didn’t seem to like the news.

“Katy Perry just QUIT,” another added, while someone wrote: “Why do we need to know this?”
Perry and Trudeau’s relationship first surprised fans last July, when rumors swirled that the singer and the former Canadian leader were spending time together.
