Is Tom Hanks a supporter of Trump?

The Hollywood star, Tom Hanks, receives backlands after his appearance on Saturday Night Live (SNL).

The actor of “Forest Gump” played a supporter of Trump for the special of the 50th anniversary of the show bearing a Maga hat and sporting a rural accent.

The actor also played the same character in a 2016 SNL sketch which was broadcast just a few days before President Donald Trump was elected to his first mandate.

By reacting to the controversial sketch on X, Link Lauren, former political advisor of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., called this a “tired trope”, and suggested that this is the reason why the note of the program is in drop.

For fans of Tom Hanks, who do not know his political association, the actor is not a supporter of Trump.

He publicly expressed his opposition to the Republicans, notably criticizing Trump’s comments and behavior, in particular with regard to the “Access Hollywood” band and the lack of political experience of Trump.

Hanks has also approved political figures from the Democratic Party, notably Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
