Pakistan firmly condemned the remarks of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggesting that the Palestinian people should establish a state in Saudi Arabia, qualifying the “irresponsible, provocative and irreproachable” press release.
The conviction came from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar on Sunday, following the remarks of Netanyahu during an interview on Pro-Nentanyahu Channel 14.
The Israeli chief seemed to joke when he responded to an interviewer who wrongly said “Saudi state” instead of “the Palestinian state”, before correcting himself.
According to a statement published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, FM DAR said: “The Israeli remark is irresponsible, provocative and thoughtless, which is not only deeply offensive, but mine and also ignores the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to self -determination and to an independent state on their own historic and legitimate territory. »»
Pakistan reaffirmed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia, congratulating the unwavering support of the Kingdom to the Palestinian cause. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that any attempt to distortion the position of Saudi Arabia on Palestine was “deeply regrettable”.
