ISLAMABAD:
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Senator Ishaq Dar on Thursday chaired a meeting to review proposals to reduce electricity tariffs for industry.
The meeting took place in the presence of the Ministers of Finance, Energy and Economic Affairs, the Minister of State for Energy and Information Technologies, the federal secretaries of the Ministries of Finance and ‘Energy, the Chairman of the FBR and other officials of the departments concerned.
The Deputy Prime Minister reviewed existing policies and reiterated the government’s determination to extend support to the industrial sector.
