Isla Fisher has expressed her emotions following the tragic death of English author Sophie Kinsella.
The 49-year-old worked in a popular film titled Cconfessions of a shopaholic; a story written by the late author. She played the role of Rebecca Bloomwood in the film.
In tribute, Isla posted on her Instagram her condolences for the death of Sophie.
With Kinsella’s photo, the Now you see me The star wrote: “Dear Sophie, you brought up Rebecca Bloomwood, a hilarious and flawed dream of a comic book character – and I was lucky enough to step in her shoes and say your witty and brilliant words. »
Fisher admitted she still considers the 55-year-old writer her hero.
“My daughters grew up reading your books and still love them today. My heart is broken. You are still my hero and I am grateful,” added the Wedding Crashers actress.
She continued, “And even though we won’t see each other again, your light and magic lives on in your incredible characters.”
In another Instagram Story, she shared the image of the film’s poster and wrote: “I’m so heartbroken that you’re gone @sophiekinsellawriter.”
Sophie died on December 10 after a long battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer.
