Police in the territory of the capital of Islamabad (ICT) launched the first “online police station” fully functional in Pakistan, guaranteeing 24 -hour protection for women, children and vulnerable segments of the company, with immediate access to justice and security by a single call for telephone assistance 1815.
According to a police spokesman, the online women’s police station is equipped to manage domestic violence, sexist violence and other crimes against women and children. A dedicated assistance line (1815) has been established, where women can without hesitation to report their complaints, request legal advice or receive immediate aid, he said.
Inspector General (IG) of the Islamabad police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said that the station offers installations such as video calls and online cat support, eliminating the need for women to visit a police station for the recording of the first information reports (FIRS), which are now delivered directly to their homes.

Ig Rizvi also said that the station operates with a first answering machine which reaches the complainant’s location within five to seven minutes. In cases where immediate resolution is not possible, women’s investigation women online women take rapid measures to guarantee justification, he added.
The IG said that all call managers, stakeholders and investigative agents for the 1815 telephone assistance line were police women. In addition, emergency calls made over the general’s 15 years are automatically redirected around 1815 using artificial intelligence, ensuring that no distress call takes place, he said.
Rizvi said that the assistance line works 24/7 to ensure that assistance is still a phone call for those in crisis. The initiative is also entirely integrated into the “police stations” supported by the AI, which can be sent alongside the first stakeholders whenever necessary, he added.
The IG also said that the main objective of the women’s online virtual police station is to provide rapid, worthy and compatible solutions with technology to sexist crimes and to ensure that no victim was unknown.
