Islamabad, Warsaw which deepens links in the key sectors

Pakistan and Poland have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation by high -level visits, parliamentary exchanges and a sustained dialogue, while the two countries seek to broaden engagement in several sectors.

Understanding was reached during the 9th round of bilateral political consultations (BPC) held in Warsaw on July 4. The ambassador of the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Europe) Muhammad Ayub directed the Pakistani delegation, while the Secretary of State of Poland at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski, led the Polish side.

The two parties examined the whole spectrum of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to stimulate collaboration in trade, investment, energy, defense, science and technology, agriculture, migration and higher education.

The Pakistani ambassador to Poland Muhammad Sami-Uhman and the Polish ambassador to Pakistan Maciej Pisarski also attended talks.

Regional and global developments, including those in South Asia, the Middle East and Europe, were discussed in detail. The two delegations noted alignment with key issues and agreed to continue working in close collaboration on multilateral forums, including the United Nations.

It was agreed that the next series of consultations will be held in Islamabad in 2026.
