The American secret services have discovered and dismantled a telecommunications network in New York which could have been used by criminals organized to communicate with the foreign actors sponsored by the State.
The huge network was made up of more than 300 servers which housed 100,000 combined SIM cards, and would have the potential to disturb telephone networks in the Tristate region and facilitate encrypted communications.
The United Nations General Assembly is currently underway in New York, and the secret services suggested that the network could have been used “to conduct several threats related to telecommunications directed to senior American officials”.
Unit of prohibition for advanced threats
The 300 colocated servers were all at less than 35 miles from the United Nations and could have been involved in “deactivating cell phone towers, allowing services of services of services and facilitating anonymous and encrypted communication between potential threats and criminal companies”.
An investigation is currently underway and is carried out by the new unit of prohibition for advanced threats of the secret services, which is “dedicated to the disruption of the most important and imminent threats for our protectors”.
While the network included 100,000 active SIM cards used in encrypted communications, the secret services also said that there were many other expectations to be deployed.

The secret services investigated threats against senior American Networks telecommunications officials, which led to the discovery of the SIM Cache Network.
Several US officials have been targeted in the identity and attacks of “Smirsh” in recent months.
SIM cards will be analyzed for telephone calls and SMS, the network capable of sending more than 30 million messages in one minute, said McCool, declaring that the network was very organized and would have cost millions of dollars to build.
“The potential for disruption of telecommunications from our country posed by this network of devices cannot be overestimated,” added Sean Curran, director of secret services.
“The mission of protection of American secret services is a question of prevention, and this survey clearly indicates to the bad potential actors that the imminent threats for our protectors will be immediately studied, found and dismantled.”
