Pakistan IT exports reached a historic summit of $ 342 million in March, reported the highest figure of all time, according to data published by the Ministry of Information Technologies, Express News reported.

Growth marks the 18th consecutive month of increased IT exports, an official of trends attributes to effective support and facilitation by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

During the first nine months of the 2025 financial year, total IT exports of Pakistan amounted to $ 2.8 billion. The government’s “Uraan Pakistan” strategy aims to bring this figure to $ 10 billion, depending on the stabilization of currencies and support policies to stimulate new expansion.

“The constant increase in exports reflects a growing global demand for Pakistani IT services,” noted a ministry official, adding that the international footprint of local IT companies continues to grow.

Two months earlier, exports had jumped by 28%, reaching $ 1.86 billion. The Minister of State for Computer Science, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, said at the time that the government expects exports to climb more in the next quarters.
