Genevieve O’Reilly and Faye Marsay raised the lid on the “important” role that Luthen Rael will play in the evolution of the dynamics of their characters Andor Season 2.
Addressing Techradar before the return of Disney + Show, O’Reilly and Marsay suggested that my Mothma and Vel Sartha’s relationship will be explored in more detail this season. However, their kinship will be at the mercy of Luthen, alias the dark leader of the emerging rebellious alliance.
Indeed, although it is clear that my and VEL care very much of each other, their relationship will always be considered as second – in the mind of Luthen, anyway – in the struggle to overthrow the Galactic Empire.
And, with the master of the puppets of the rebellion “holding a lot of cards” in terms of orchestration of the role of each rebel in the television series Star Wars, my and VEL will be found in different directions throughout the 12 episodes race of the last season.

“There is a scene in season 2 that we filmed in Valence,” continues O’Reilly. “It’s a festive scene where my and Luthen meet again, and my asks him” how is my cousin?
