- Resident Evil Requiem physical copies are apparently available ahead of the February 27 launch
- Spoilers would also be online
- Fortunately, spoiler blockers are available for those who want to avoid seeing the information early.
Resident Evil Requiem is only a few days away from its launch on February 27, after a frustrating marketing phase. Previous games in the resident Evil the franchise has been leaked ahead of release dates – and unfortunately, it looks like the same thing is happening again.
As our friends at GamesRadar report, the first copies of Resident Evil Requiem are out in the wild and spoilers are apparently already available online. GamesRadar also states that it found screenshots and descriptions that effectively spoil some of the Requiemevents, but cannot fully verify their legitimacy.
I can definitely corroborate the first one, as I have personally seen several user posts on social media with physical copies of Requiem. While I can’t verify that the spoilers are legitimately available online, there’s a good chance that they are.
It’s no coincidence that, once some consumers have copies, spoilers begin to spread; therefore, it is best to proceed with extreme caution until February 27 if you don’t want to see anything sooner.
It’s time to turn off the internet if you intend to play Requiem blind.
Spoiler blockers are your best friend
If you’re like me, who actively browses YouTube and other social media platforms, you may want to set some boundaries. One of the worst offenders when it comes to spoilers is YouTube, with spoiler videos appearing on the home page (especially if you watch other videos). resident Evil associated content).
To make your life easier until February 27, I recommend using the Google Chrome extension No Spoilers, which allows you to enter multiple keywords and actively blur the thumbnail and title of any video that includes them. It’s most effective on the homepage, but it can sometimes fail to block YouTube Shorts.
There are still many ways to be spoiled, even using such measures to prevent it, so the best advice I can give you is to limit social media browsing as much as possible and use the mute function on apps like X.
Nobody likes spoilers, and I’ll never understand why some people ruin other people’s entertainment experiences. However, now is not the time to think about it, but rather the time to strengthen your defenses against spoilers.
