PlayStation’s 2025 recap is here – if you can load it now – and it’s a handful of rather interesting details, information and data that PS users receive every year.
I always look forward to seeing this flash preview of my year on PlayStation, especially since it’s my primary platform, and I try to play, well, everything I can on my PS5 Pro.
Either way, this year is about more than just showing game stats, trophy data, and time spent in every game you’ve played on PS5 and PS4.
This year, Sony even shows you – satisfyingly, I think – which color of DualSense you’ve used the most, as well as some data on PlayStation Portal usage (only if you have one, probably).
The summary can now show you how many different games you’ve played on your portal, how many sessions you’ve had, and how many hours in total – it’s awesome!
We knew Sony had and was interested in using this kind of information when we spoke to Takuro Fushimi, Sony’s senior director of product management, about the portal’s big update last month, but it’s still fascinating to see its own information in the light of day.
I’m a big fan of this as well, beyond the portal stuff; however, as my Wrap-Up will now even tell me which DualSense color I used the most!
As you can see above, it was Midnight Black this year, and that’s probably because when I received it as a gift last Christmas, I paired it with KontrolFreek handles in the same color to create the perfect color-coordinated stamp that sticks to me like glue.
I’d like to have a detailed analysis of this in a ranking – although it might add a bit of shame to those I barely use, or don’t use at all.
What type of data did you obtain? What has been your most used DualSense color? Let me know in the comments.
