Jack Black reflected on the days when he wasn’t an actor and taking things one day at a time.
A Minecraft movie The star made an embarrassing confession about her life before coming to light.
Sit with her Anaconda co-star Paul Rudd on Rotten Tomatoesthey interviewed each other, where Paul asked him if he had a job before acting.
“Oh my God, that’s a shameful answer. I’ve never had a job,” Black said.
Black then recalled a job he held briefly: “I did a day of telemarketing and I didn’t make any sales, and I was like, ‘I can already tell my soul is being sucked out.’ And I gave up, and I made a decision there and then.”
“It was like, ‘It’s showbiz or bust. I’m focusing on acting or music, and if I don’t make it, I’ll live with my mom,'” he said. “I know it seems [weird]. I had no plan B, no backup.”
Anaconda stars Black and Rudd alongside Steve Zahn and Thandiwe Newton as a group of amateur filmmakers traveling to the Amazon jungle to reboot the original film.
Jennifer Lopez and Ice Cube, who starred in the original 1997 film, also made surprise appearances in the film.
Anaconda is now showing in cinemas.
