During last year’s election cycle, Jake Paul urged his tens of millions of social media followers to vote for President Donald Trump. After beating Mike Tyson about a week and a half after Trump’s victory, he spontaneously declared that the country “felt like” it was “back.”

Two months later, Paul and his brother Logan were spotted at the inaugurations of the 45th and 47th presidents, but since then he has remained relatively silent on political matters.

This is happening despite numerous sweeping measures taken by the Trump administration, including enforcing ICE, implementing the National Guard in cities to help reduce crime, and releasing remaining Israeli hostages abroad.

A little more than nine months into Trump’s second term, Paul is a fan of what he’s seen.

“America is healing slowly. And I think it’s in a way that people generally don’t understand or can’t understand, because Trump is doing things that maybe don’t make sense to a lot of people, but that in the long run will pay off and in the long run will deliver amazing results in the United States,” Paul said in a recent interview with PK Press Club Digital.

Paul added that Trump is “doing one of the best jobs of any president in American history,” praising him for not acting on his feelings, but what he feels is simply for the good of the country.

“Just being ruthless and fierce, maybe not doing things for the public favor or being liked by everyone – I think there are even Republicans who are wondering, ‘Why is this happening? Why is this happening?’ They don’t know the inner workings, nor the depth and complexity of things, nor the scale of these problems, nor how to solve them.

“You just have to trust the process and the administration, and I think they’re doing a phenomenal job. I think the results are what’s ultimately going to make the most people happy.”
