James Van Der Beek is delighted to announce his latest role after his cancer diagnosis.
The 48 -year -old actor went to his official Instagram account on Thursday, May 15, to reveal that he occupies a recurring role in the guests SheThe next prequel to Legally blonde.
“So it’s exciting … I go back to work a bit,” he said with enthusiasm.
“Super excited to join this brilliant cast in a project as fun. Almost as excited as my wife and my daughters are that I do this #legallyblond #elle,” he added.
The role marks the Dawson’s Creek Alum has been the first since its diagnosis of colorectal cancer
Van der Beek’s wife Kimberly turned out to be a support partner, carrying his Instagram handle to celebrate the actor’s return to play.
“Annabel and I needed it!” Kimberly wrote in the comments section.
It is relevant to mention that Van der Beek shares six children with his wife Kimberly.
