James Van Der Beek drew on a heart duration as he asked his children about his cancer.
In a recent conversation on TodayOn July 30, the 48 -year -old actor, who has been fighting with colorectal cancer of stadium 3 for eight months, spoke of the hard conversation he had with his children about his fear of health.
“I am far from being an expert, but our approach was just to be as honest as possible, as honest in the degree of their understanding, right? Because they know,” James said in the third hour of the show.
THE Dawson Creek Star noted that his children “may feel that dad has a difficult day”.
“They know if dad suffer. They know it, and therefore by not telling them, I think you confuse them even more,” continued James.
Taking the time to advise other parents, he encouraged them to let their children know if they cross the same situations.
“When you tell them what you do and you tell them the approach, they can see it and they can feel it, and I think it’s also your trip is their trip,” he urged.
