Wood was one of the best players in nationals since he entered the League in 2024. He had 31 circuits and 105 points produced with an average of the stick of .274 and an Ops of .863, according to his average of 162 games. Its number was compared to Juan Soto and Bryce Harper.
“These are some of the best guys to put in jersey,” he said on Saturday via ESPN. “I really try to be guys like that. They have been doing – Juan Soto for over seven years and Bryce Harper for over 12 years – I know that I had a long way to go, but it’s really cool.”
