Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner beat German Alexander Zverev in two sets to win her second consecutive title on Sunday at the Australian Open, 6-3, 7-6 (4), 6-3.
Sinner once again solidified his first tennis ranking. It has been world n ° 1 since June and shows no signs of stopping. He did not face a break ball and had more winning blows (32-25) and fewer direct faults (45-27).

Zverev said it himself.
“You are by far the best player in the world. I was hoping to be more a competitor today, but you are simply too good. It’s as simple as that,” he said.
This is the third Title du Grand Chelem to Sinner. He won the Australian Open twice and the US Open last year. He went to the semi-finals in Roland-Garros and Wimbledon. He is the eighth man in the Open era to start his 3-0 career in the Grand Slam final.
“It’s incredible to do these things,” he said.

Sinner entered the tournament with a huge spotlight on him. He was tested positive for a trace of an anabolic steroid twice last March, but he attributed this to an accidental exhibition involving two members of his team. He was bleached by a decision that has been the subject of an appeal from the World Anti -Doping Agency.
It was initially exonerated in August, but the AMA call is scheduled for April.
Tennis stars such as Nick Kyrgios denounced the doping violations of players like Sinner and Iga Swiatek, who accepted a suspension in November.

“Two world n ° 1 arrested for doping are disgusting for our sport. It is a horrible look,” said the Australian star last month. “The integrity of tennis right now, and everyone knows it, but no one wants to talk about it, it’s horrible.”
