Jason Kelce was like many Americans on July 4, taking some of the best fireworks.
However, when the legend of the Eagles of Philadelphia went to social networks to celebrate, he met a lot of vitriol.
“Dude, I like the 4th! One of the big days that we can all put aside our differences in this country, and take advantage of the only thing we all share in common. That we are American! Bravo to you beautiful America,” wrote Kelce in an Instagram post of a video of a few fireworks.

Almost immediately, he was torn in the comments.
Kelce’s post occurred a few hours after President Donald Trump signed the “big and beautiful bill”, which seemed to be the catalyst for the reaction in the comments of the former NFL player.
“Put aside the differences? One part wants to feed children. The other wants to feed brown people with alligators,” wrote a person.
“Unfortunately, Jason is not real life for many. They have signed the worst bill for so many Americans today just to rub it on our faces. I know that it is difficult to understand, but so many people will suffer,” added another.
Another user called his post “Tone Deaf”.

“I love you Bud but it’s so disconnected, please, please read the RN room. So many people suffer,” added another.
Another user said that there was “nothing beautiful in this country right now”.
The message made more than 2,000 comments at the time of publication. Its three previous items combined for just over 1,000 comments.

The Kelces were normally silent on their political convictions, but the girlfriend of Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift, approved Kamala Harris for the 2024 presidential election.
