Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke are fans hit by a major nostalgia wave as they reunited after nearly a decade.
Clarke, who was busy promoting her upcoming series Ponies in New York, received a surprise backstage visit from none other than his former Game of Thrones co-star Momoa.
The actress attended the Kelly Clarkson Show as part of the promotion of its spy series. Jason, surprisingly, was also there to promote his own Prime Video action comedy, The demolition team.
The unexpected presence of the two stars in the same place brought them together. To mark their reunion, Clarke posed for a photo with Momoas and posted it with the caption: “New York has given me so much to be grateful for on this trip and just when I thought it couldn’t get any better…look who walked into my dressing room,” adding the hashtags, “my dragon daddy” and “we still have him.”
Fans were quick to notice the post and flood the comments section with loving and nostalgic comments.
“Daenerys and Khal forever,” many said while another added: “The true definition of ‘Moon of my life’ and ‘My sun and stars’. Gotta love the bond they both have!”
For those who don’t know, Clarke and Momoa played one of the most talked about couples on HBO’s all-time hit series. Game of Thrones. Clarke portrays the character of Daenerys Targaryen and Momoa playing Khal Drogo.
