Jayden Daniels of Commanders reacts to the commercial demand of Terry McLaurin

Terry McLaurin, twice pro from Bowler, recently asked to be exchanged to another NFL team. McLaurin’s request surfaced after the momentum concerning a potential contract extension between representatives of the broad receiver and Washington commanders seemed to stall.

McLaurin pointed out to the training camp for commanders, but did not participate in the practice sessions – effectively designating it as a deduction. In a corresponding movement, Washington placed McLaurin on the list physically unable to perform.

The quarter of commanders Jayden Daniels, offensive recruit of the year of the NFL last season, shared his reflections as to whether he thought he would launch passes to McLaurin in 2025.

“I know that one day 17 COURIRA HERE – and I hope soon,” Daniels told CBS Sports.

While Daniels acknowledged that the Washington Front Office is finally that manages contractual negotiations, it has doubled its optimism on the pursuit of being teammates with McLaurin in the foreseeable future.

“I cannot control what he has with his business or the front office, things like that. I have to go there and try to be the best version of myself every day. I just hope that everything will be resolved and 17 is back here to catch passes.”

McLaurin ended last season with a better career of 13 receptions of touch and 1,096 reception yards. He received All-Pro honors for the first time in his career in the NFL, and a large part of his successful campaign in 2024 could be attributed to the recruit campaign in small groups of Daniels.

In addition to the honors of the NFL year offensive recruit, Daniels was also appointed to Pro Bowl.

Washington drafted McLaurin in the third round of Ohio State in 2019. In addition to his recruit campaign, McLaurin finished each of his NFL seasons with at least 1,0000 reception yards.

McLaurin signed a three -year contract with Washington in 2022. The agreement is expected to expire after the 2025 season.
