Vice-president JD Vance, former students of Ohio State University, was looking forward to meeting the Buckeyes football team at the White House on Monday to celebrate the national team championship.
But he needed these buckeyes to help him almost escaped their large gold trophy on the lawn of the White House.
After President Donald Trump, Vance and head coach Ryan Day said a few words about the achievements of Buckeyes in the last university football season, photos were taken and the vice-president took the opportunity to hoist the trophy of the national title of the series of university football.

However, Vance did not realize that the black base was almost a stand for the golden ship, and it almost fell from his hands when he was going to lift everything.
Fortunately, Vance recovered thanks in part using the head coach Ryan Day and the starry holder Treveyon Henderson, who were both fast to help him.
Vance removed the trophy from its stand and felt much more comfortable while the photos continued on the lawn of the White House.
The vice-president joked on X after seeing the clip to become viral to him.
“I only wanted anyone after the Ohio State obtained the trophy, so I decided to break it,” he wrote.

In addition to having the trophy, the Buckeyes also made Trump a personalized Buckeyes football jersey with his name and the number 47 in the back in honor of his presidency.
Vance said it was “so proud” to be an elder from the Ohio state that day, while pointing to the American senator Ted Cruz, who, according to the vice-president, has to pay on a bet.

“I just mean a few words about this team because they really helped make an even better incredible year even better for this very proud old Ohio State,” started Vance. “First of all, I gave a bet with Ted Cruz on the Texas game, a bet on which he still hasn’t paid. Ted Cruz, if you watch on television – I don’t like losing a bet, but I really don’t want to lose a bet at Ted Cruz. So, thank you all for helping me win this bet against Ted Cruz.”
Vance also admitted to having mentioned Trump that he wanted to see the Buckeyes face Our Lady Fighting Irish in the national championship, but he landed on January 20 – the day of the inauguration of Trump as 47th president.
“The second thing, I asked the president on January 20, I said:” Sir, that would bother you if I was in this last inaugural ball to go to the Ohio National Championship match. “The president said:” No, but we will have them in the White House “. So here we are celebrating their national title,” said Vance, laughing.
“You were resilient. You were hard. You represented the state of Ohio. You represented the whole country.”
Trump congratulated Buckeyes for fighting the 12 -year -old qualifiers, especially after difficult losses against Oregon Ducks and Michigan Wolverines, the latter being the most rival in Ohio State.

Vance even pointed out that someone wore a hat from Michigan during the white house ceremony, and said that he was going to tell the secret services that the person had a “dangerous weapon”.
The Buckeyes defeated the Fighting Irish, 34-23, during the match for the national title, which was capped by a beautiful deep pass from Will Howard to Jeremia Smith at the end of the fourth quarter.
