Jennifer Lawrence talked about her new film Die my lovein which she plays a mother dealing with postpartum depression.
The Oscar-winning actress, known for The hunger games And Silver Linings Game Book, said the role allowed her to explore the emotional challenges of motherhood.
Lawrence, 35, married to art dealer Cooke Maroney, welcomed her first son in 2022 and her second earlier this year.
The star explained that reading Ariana Harwicz’s book helped her connect with the character.
“There are a lot of things that I relate to in terms of the identity crisis that you experience when you become a mother for the first time. It changes everything,” she shared.

However, it gave him a new perspective on the role and made filming this story more emotional.
In the film, Lawrence plays Grace, a new mother trying to adjust to life in an isolated country house, while her partner Jackson, played by Robert Pattinson, is often absent.

She also praised director Lynne Ramsay and called the experience of filming in Canada in 2024 “fantastic.”
