Jennifer Lopez Gets Honestly About Her Biggest Acting Regret

Jennifer Lopez talks candidly about her role in ‘Unfaithful’

In around twenty films, Jennifer Lopez has proven her courage as an actress. Yet there was one film she turned down, which became her biggest acting regret.

“[Director] Adrian Lyne suggested Unfaithful to me,” she says, referring to the 2002 film starring Diane Lane, who was nominated for an Oscar for her portrayal of Connie Summer.

In the interview with Howard Stern, the pop icon further reveals that the script “wasn’t good” at first, but she credited the film’s director, who “then made it great.”

“And Diane Lane was nominated for the Oscar,” adds the 56-year-old. This makes Howard wonder, “Is this hard to live with?”

“It’s funny. It haunts me,” J.Lo responds. “It haunts me a little bit, because it’s like the one I turned down.”

She continues: “It was like, ‘Why did you refuse to work with Adrian Lyne? What were you thinking?’ I don’t know what was going through my head at that moment. Who knows what was happening to me at that moment?

Meanwhile, Jennifer’s latest film, Kiss of the Spider Womanis in theaters.
