Jennifer Lopez covered the pain of marriages failed by her “best thing that has ever taken place” on the divorce of Ben Affleck.
Sources close to Lopez have revealed Radaronline.com That she “puts a courageous face, but behind, she suffers”.
Lopez finalized his divorce from Affleck earlier in January after separated in April 2024. They made the knot in 2022 and they rekindled their romance two decades after canceling their commitment in 2003.
For the UNversed, Lopez was married four times in total and shares twins Emme and Max with her third husband Marc Anthony.
The initiate continued: “She tells people that divorce was the best thing for her, but it is also a way to protect herself. To say that she is booming, which is easier to manage the fact that another marriage ended with disappointment.”
A second source said Lopez “tries to crop history by saying it was the best thing that happened to it.
“This is partly the truth, part of the self -service. She believes that experience has changed it, but it is undeniable that it was painful. Her friends see her crying one day and smiling the next – it’s reality.”
During a recent interview with CBS Sunday morningLopez thought about working with Affleck during the end of their wedding, like her latest film, Kiss the spider womanwas produced by Affleck and his boyfriend Matt Damon’s Company, Equity Artists.
“The film would not have been made if it was not for him and the actions of the artists. I will always give him this credit. It was difficult not to think of things, but it was, like the best and the worst time. Every moment on the set … I was so happy. And then … at home, it was not great,” recalls Lopez at the time.
