Jennifer loves Hewitt, a face known in the I know what you did last summer The series returned to the last entry of the franchise.
In a conversation with THRThe actress thought about the reproduction of her character Julie James: “I hesitated at the beginning. I wanted to make sure that she was integrating into the film in the right way and that there was a reason for her to come back in addition to the moment of nostalgia for the 90s. ”
“I wanted her role in the film to be important and that the public feels proud of whom she has become,” she added.
Elsewhere in the interview, Jennifer thought about how she returned to her character after almost three decades of not having played her.
“Well, what is beautiful in this film is that she feels like the same person in the original film, but she also feels like a new character in some respects in all the time that has passed,” she explained.
“But I have rewatch [I Know What You Did Last Summer]. It was the first horror film of my children. They really wanted to look at him together, and so I looked at him with them, which was a total trip. “”
“So it was really fun and exciting and interesting to go back and look at this girl on the road that evening,” added the star.
