- Jensen Huang could sell six million Nvidia shares before the end of 2025
- CFO and director of NVIDIA are also preparing to sell shares
- Quarterly income continues to grow, so Nvidia is not worried
The CEO of NVIDIA, Jensen Huang, began the process of selling part of its vast cache of actions of the company, but does not scare you – that is part of a commercial plan 10B5-1, which, in this case, allows Huang to sell six million shares (worth around 865 million dollars).
Huang, who has until December 31, 2025 to sell his action allowance, has already sold 100,000 shares for $ 14.4 million in a series of transactions on June 20 and 23, according to a DRI file.
Nvidia did not publicly comment on sales, but they were not kept secret – the company revealed Huang’s intention to sell up to six million shares in its last quarterly report.
Nvidia leaders sell their actions
The same announcement confirmed that NVIDIA’s financial director, Colette M Kress, and the company’s director, Brooke Seawell, would also sell up to 500,000 and 1,153,049 actions respectively, but with different deadlines – March 24, 2026 for Kress and July 31, 2025 for Seawell.
Huang is currently estimated at 126 billion dollars (via Bloomberg), and has sold a total of actions totaling a value of more than $ 1.9 billion to date.
However, unlike investors’ reactions to the company’s works, Huang’s decision to sell up to $ 865 million in shares should not be a concern. It is rather a common scenario observed among the billionaires who want to have access to their money.
In fact, NVIDIA shares have regularly climbed in the last month. Now estimated at $ 144.17 each, NVIDIA is the second most precious company in the world, dragging just behind Microsoft with a market capitalization of 3.515 billions of dollars.
Nvidia’s financial performance continues to impress investors, with income in the first quarter up 12% in one quarter and 69% from one year to the next.
Suggesting that growth could continue so that upcoming neighborhoods, Huang noted: “countries around the world recognize AI as essential infrastructure – just like electricity and internet – and Nvidia is at the center of this deep transformation.”
