Jessica Alba Reveals ‘Scariest’ ‘Fantastic Four’ Scene to Film

Jessica Alba has reflected on a scene from one of her iconic films that left her “humiliated.”

The 44-year-old pointed out the infamous bridge sequence from 2005. Fantastic Four where her character Sue Storm is forced to undress to disappear from the crowd.

During her recent appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival on Friday, Alba recalled admitting that this scene was her “least favorite scene” from the film.

Variety reported that Alba told attendees, “I thought it was horrible.”

“It was very humiliating in real life. I grew up in a pretty conservative family and I’m a pretty modest person. I dreaded that scene for weeks.

She further added that she confessed to having suffered the trauma of filming this scene.

“I had a lot of whippings around that time,” Cash Warren’s ex shared.

Despite the humiliation, Alba stressed that she still admires Sue Storm as a character.

She described the Invisible Woman as “motherly”, “very kind” and morally grounded.

Alba saw Storm as the superhero who broke gender stereotypes at a time when women in action films were often portrayed as needing to be saved.

“[she was] not a breeze; she said what she thought. No matter who you are, you can look up to it,” Alba said.

Alba eventually moved away from superhero films after Fantastic Four: The Silver Surfer (2007),

She focused on her entrepreneurial career at The Honest Company.

The role of Sue Storm was given to Vanessa Kirby in Marvel’s Fantastic Four: first steps.
