Jessica Simpson overturns beans over her life so far after moving to Nashville to work on new music.
The singer, 44, remembered music and maternity in her forties with her sister Ashlee Ross in a joint interview with The cut.
Simpson noted that a silver lining to move to Nashville was where there was “no paparazzi” unlike Los Angeles.
“I literally did carte wheels in the alleys of Walmart,” she told the publication.
She sprang from simple joys such as navigation in a CVS and saying: “Look at all these new little vaselines!”
Simpson added that as regards his love to be able to walk out with casualness – or the wheel of cart – in public places, there is no shame. “I am your American daughter with regard to this,” she said. “That’s sure.”
Ross also noted his sister’s obsession for supermarket walks and the brightest side.
“I always like to go to your closet or bathroom. It is, like 500 million products. My children do not like anything more than getting into your pantry because you have each treat on the planet. You really like this CVS, Walmart, whatever.
Simpson is a mother of Maxwell, 12, Ace, 11, and Birdie, 5, all who share with her husband Eric Johnson.
The musician also informed his creative process when making music.
“When I arrived in Nashville to write my new disc last year, I listened to Cece Winans again and again –I go everything. Its version always gives me chills, ”she shared in the interview.
Simpson explained how she started her process by “backing up and making a reading list” of music that has deeply resonated with it rather than trying to create “a small climb that would be a success”.
Meanwhile, Ross called the new musical direction of his sister “Americana, Rockabilly, Timeless, Old-School, Classic Vibe”.
