The New York Jets made a reconvention request against their former finance vice-president, Elaine Chen, after Chen continued the organization alleging reprisals for having cooperated in an investigation into sexual harassment on the president of the Hymie Elhai team.
The team’s reconvention requests include defamation, civilian conspiracy, criminal interference and breach of contract.
Chen said in her initial trial that she and her husband, the former vice-president of ticket sales, Larry Fitzpatrick, were dismissed as reprisals after the complaints were filed against Elhai.

The jets allegedly alleged that Chen and Fitzpatrick engaged in an “illegal conspiracy” to “wrongly accuse” Elhai of sexual harassment, and argued that she and Fitzpatrick were dismissed “rightly” for a flagrant, exploitable and totally reprehensible “misconduct.
“This trial is nothing more than a desperate extension of the conspiracy and an attempt by Shakedown Nyj, which no longer pays the salaries of Chen or Fitzpatrick, and to avoid the inevitable and simple consequences of their fault”, according to the jets, as shown by the judicial documents obtained by PK Press Club Digital.
The documents also included screenshots of alleged SMS and emails exchanged by Chen and Fitzpatrick which show alleged communication in the alleged conspiracy.
