Boyd remained at Bellevue Hospital, according to multiple reports. Police have released two photos of a suspect they were looking for for discharging a firearm.
Meanwhile, Boyd’s Jets teammates kept the cornerback and special teams player in mind during practice.
Defensive end Harrison Phillips said some of his teammates talked to Boyd.
“I just know a lot of prayers have been answered,” Phillips said. “It’s a blessing to know that he’s in a stable condition, surrounded by family and a lot of support around him. Certainly, where the news was originally reported, there’s a lot of panic and a lot of emotion that comes with it. That’s not to make the situation any less, but I think we’re a little more grateful to know that he’s in a stable condition now.”

“So it’s time for us to come together,” Ruckert said. “And like I said, prayers for him and his family. And I hope everything turns out okay in the end.”
The man police are looking for has not been identified by name.
“The wanted individual is described as a man of medium complexion,” police said. “He was last seen wearing a black cap, a black sweatshirt, black pants, multi-colored sneakers and a black school bag.”
