“After 6 years in the NFL, I officially retire medically,” he wrote in a statement published on his Instagram. “I am proud of the career I had, but I accumulated a combination of injuries that crush my desire to continue playing.
“Thank you to the Falcons d’Atlanta for having believed in me and for writing a DII prospect radar. Thank you to the Strait Lions for withdrawing derogations and for giving me a second contract and for allowing me to show what I can do as the start of the NFL.
Cominsky added that he had “learned a lot” by playing football and that he was grateful to have had the chance to share the field with players he admired as a young athlete and to shake hands with the fame of fame.

Falcons have selected Cominsky in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Reclassion of the University of Charleston in Virginia-Western.
He played 27 games for the Falcons before appearing in 30 with the Lions in 2022 and 2023. He underwent a torn MCL in summer before the 2024 season and missed the whole season.

He recorded 107 plated and 7.5 bags in five seasons.
