“After 6 years in the NFL, I officially retire medically,” he wrote in a statement published on his Instagram. “I am proud of the career I had, but I accumulated a combination of injuries that crush my desire to continue playing.

“Thank you to the Falcons d’Atlanta for having believed in me and for writing a DII prospect radar. Thank you to the Strait Lions for withdrawing derogations and for giving me a second contract and for allowing me to show what I can do as the start of the NFL.

Cominsky added that he had “learned a lot” by playing football and that he was grateful to have had the chance to share the field with players he admired as a young athlete and to shake hands with the fame of fame.

He recorded 107 plated and 7.5 bags in five seasons.
