Jeff Sperbeck, the longtime agent, friend and trading partner of John Elway, has died of injuries suffered in an accident involving a golf cart that would have been led by the legendary quarter of Denver Broncos.
Sperbeck was 62 years old.
The Coroner of the County of Riverside confirmed that Sperbeck died early Wednesday at the Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. The injury occurred on Saturday evening at the Quinta, California.

Elway was the one who led the golf cart while Sperbeck fell and hit his head on Asphalt, TMZ reported earlier on Wednesday. Sperbeck was subjected to life because of his injuries.
Sperbeck was sitting in the passenger seat of the golf cart at the time of the incident, according to ESPN.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Bureau launched an investigation. There was no indication now that Elway was led the golf cart with Imperudence, TMZ reported.
Sperbeck started his relationship with Elway in 1990, becoming his manager. He has since helped hundreds of NFL players through several agencies.

In 2015, Elway and Sperbeck founded 7celars, which produced premium wines from Central California and Napa Valley.
Elway spent the 16 seasons with the broncos, winning two Super bowls For the franchise along the way.
He became the director general and executive vice-president of the team, then the president of football operations, after his days of play, before playing a role as a consultant until his contract was underway in March 2023.
