John Legend recently opened how the family is closer to the diagnosis of diabetes of his son Miles.
In a conversation with PEOPLE magazine The Hollywood Reporter And the Social Impact Summit of the Social Impact Social Fund on Thursday, July 24, the 46-year-old American-songwriter and American-interpreter shared the update of the state of health of his 7-year-old son and how it happens after having received a diabetes type 1 diabetes in 2024.
Legend has said: “The youngest do not really know what’s going on, but when they see the devices and the things they have to wear, they sometimes have questions.”
“His condition also builds the grain in him, and as a family, I think that it also builds him in us because we all come together to support him,” he noted.
In particular, the father of four attended a family camp in diabetes with miles and spent a little time with him earlier this month, when he published a photo carousel on his Instagram.
“I took kilometers during a boys’ trip to a wonderful Diabetes family camp @ dyf_t1d. I loved spending time head-on with him in Yosemite,” he legend the post.
