John Leguizamo has just become Candide and opened his first marriage and what he learned.
For the UNversed, before making the knot with Justine Maurer in 2003, the 64 -year -old American actor was previously married to actress Yelba Zoe McCourt in 1994, but called to leave in 1996.
While conversing with PEOPLEThe journalist asked questions about the lessons he learned from his first marriage to McCourt and how it helped him in his second relationship with Maurer.
Answering the question, Leguizamo expressed his thoughts saying: “The starter’s marriage was definitely very important for my maturation.”
THE Super Mario Bros. Star then admitted that this period of his life was “an experience of learning life, because I do not think that I would be the same husband or the same man if I had not lived the experience of the first marriage”.
“I have learned a lot about respect. I learned a lot about the compromise. I learned that it does not happen for themselves-this marriage is really work, and you have to work, and you have to put on work, and you have to put yourself in it,” he explained.
