UFC star Jon Jones authorized a major legal obstacle resulting from a new-mexic circulation incident.
Jones faced charges related to the accusations that he fled the place of an accident in February. A press release obtained by PK Press Club Digital on Tuesday confirmed that these charges had been abandoned.
On Tuesday also marked an appearance of the bench trials planned for the professional mixed professional artist, but the state of the New Mexico has filed a Nolle Prosequi, who officially rejected the case.

Jones’ lawyer Christopher A. Dodd suggested that the dismissal has supported his longtime belief in the innocence of his client.
“We were fully justified. From the start, we explained that a woman had made a false allegation against Jon in order to avoid being arrested for Dwi, and unfortunately, the police agreed that the complaint without correctly assessing the facts. To carry out a complete and fair examination of this case, which finally confirmed Jon’s innocence.”

Dodd added that his office continues to review the driving of the Albuquerque police department leading to arrest and immediately after the arrest of Jones.
“At the same time, it is deeply disturbing that such critical evidence was ignored, forcing Jon to endure this test unnecessarily. Our investigation into the way it happened remains in progress.”

A woman involved in a vehicle accident in February said that Jones was leaving one of the incident cars and allegedly left that he had left the scene after the wreckage. The police officer who replied noted that the woman showed signs of “important poisoning”.

At the time, Dodd vehemently denied the assertion that Jones led a vehicle during the night in question.
“Jon was not driving that night; he was not in the car,” said Dodd in a statement in June. “It seems that a woman who was intoxicated used a false allegation against Jon to avoid being arrested for Dwi, and the police fell for her. Based on the criminal complaint, it seems that they went so far as to ask for a mandate for the mobile phone files of Jon while carrying out an investigation into the trafficking in crime. I have never heard of such a thing.”
Jones retired from the professional competition in June. He made the decision after competing with sparingly since 2020. Jones held the undisputed title of the UFC when he moved away. Despite the retirement, Jones made movements suggesting that he could return to the fighting in 2026.
